Geekbench benchmarking site recently listed the LG V40 ThinQ (LGE LM-V405) device with Android 9.0 Pie version.

That clearly means the handset will soon get Android Pie OTA update officially by the end of this year or early 2019. However, LG devices don’t get faster updates but this time may be the company updated their strategy. The performed device obviously runs on Android Pie beta build for the testing process and having a 6GB of RAM. The device scores 2315 points in a single-core and 7242 points in a multi-core test.

The handset is powered by flagship Qualcomm Android 8.1 Oreo officially out of the box. However, LG isn’t announce anything officially yet. We can expect at least one major Android upgrade from the company.
