Samsung released a second firmware update for Galaxy S24 phones in late May 2025. The update keeps the May 2025 security patch. It comes as May ends, and it’s over 1 GB in size. That hints at more than just security fixes.

The changelog says, “The usability of device operations has been improved”, instead of the usual security-focused notes. The update covers all Galaxy S24 models with these firmware versions:

Galaxy S24 Ultra: S928BXXU4BYE7
This update covers over 58 high-level security issues. It also fixes 20 Samsung-specific issues. These fixes make your phone safer from attacks.
Battery and performance
Some Galaxy S24 s experienced battery drain problems after the One UI 7.0 update.
