At I/O in May 2025, Google announced the rename to Find Hub. This happened through Google Play Services update 25.20.37. The new Find Hub app helps you find lost Android phones and tablets.
Where to find “Find Hub”?

Google Play Services version 25.20.37 rolled out in June 2025. It changes “Find My Device” to “Find Hub” in Settings» Security & Privacy» Device Finders. In Settings »Google» All Services, “Find My Device” is now “Find Hub”. The toggle now reads “Allow device to be located” instead of “Use Find My Device”.
Note: To get Find Hub, you need to update Google Play Services to version 25.20.37. You can also the Find Hub app version 3.1.337-2 from Google Play Store or APKmirror. This rebrands makes Google’s device finding service compete better with Apple’s Find My network.
It also helps you find friends and family . You can access Find Hub by going to Settings then Security & Privacy then Device Finders on most Android phones. Pixel phones got this change first. Samsung Galaxy phones still show the old “Find My Device” name but will change soon.

Visible Changes in Settings

Screenshots from 9To5Google show that tapping “Find Hub” opens a toggle to allow device location. Links to the Find Hub app and web interface appear under this toggle. All instances of “Find My Device” in Settings now say “Find Hub”.
Find Hub works the same way as the old app. You can still track your lost phone or make it ring. The app now has a People tab to find family . Google plans to add more features later in 2025. These include UWB tracking for better location finding and satellite for areas with no cell service.
Impact on Samsung Galaxy Devices
Galaxy s with Google Play Services 25.20.37 still see “Find My Device” in Settings» Google »All Services. Google applies the rename server-side for Samsung phones. Samsung typically updates later than Pixel, so Galaxy will get the change soon.
How to Update Google Play Services
On a Galaxy device, go to Settings» Apps» Google Play Services» App details in store. If version 25.20.37 is available, tap “Update.” Once updated, the server-side rename will activate.
